Rockford Police Department

The Rockford Police Department hired KMK to develop a brochure in a short timeframe that described the department’s community policing initiatives and communicated annual statistics both in text and graphics. The brochure was distributed to policy makers in Washington, D.C. who were impressed and hadn’t seen anything like it from a law enforcement organization.

Exelon

Every year, the Exelon Nuclear Power Plant in Byron launches its employee safety campaign. KMK is hired annually to produce its internal signage to reinforce the message.

Rockford Chamber

The Rockford Chamber of Commerce has hired KMK for various special event invitations and programs including collateral for the annual meeting, women’s business expo, regional business expo and manufacturers’ dinner.

Focus Financial

Focus Financial’s collateral materials were several years old, outdated in content and in look. The financial advisors hired KMK Media Group to redesign their leave-behind brochure. KMK used a unique shape, helped formulate the message and create the brochure to look and feel like the organization it represents.

Rockford Public Schools

With no graphic design professionals on staff, RPS 205 hired KMK to effectively design and visually communicate RPS programs including the gifted program, preschool programs, kindergarten registration and transportation specifics. The marketing pieces resulted in increased participation among all programs promoted.

Riverside Community Bank

KMK has worked with Riverside for several years. At the start, bank employees wanted to increase awareness of their business banking expertise. KMK created a print, electronic and outdoor campaign. After one year, the bank had increased its business banking by more than 30 percent.

The annual campaign has changed creative over the years and continues to do well for the financial institution. KMK has implemented additional retail campaigns that have shown significant upticks in business.

Physicians Immediate Care

Prior to being put up for sale, Physicians Immediate Care under the direction of VP Joanne Beyer, hired KMK to handle marketing for all 13 of its clinics in the Rockford region, Chicago, Chicago suburbs and Oklahoma. KMK created print, outdoor and direct mail campaigns, began the company’s social media marketing and researched, placed and managed hundreds of thousands of dollars in advertising for all clinics with media outlets nationwide.

Rockford Area Convention & Visitors Bureau

The RACVB needed a creative, new approach to promoting our region’s spectacular golf courses to golf enthusiasts within driving distance of Rockford. This ad appeared in a tourism magazine, Golf Time, distributed in the Chicago area, and it complimented other billboard and promotional work KMK did for the RACVB.

Rockford Police Department

The Rockford Police Department hired KMK to help implement their first-ever outsourced recruitment campaign with a goal of recruiting more minority candidates. KMK helped plan the media buys and created TV, print, outdoor and radio advertising, as well as trade show and collateral materials. The department declared the campaign a success!

Young at Heart Festival

KMK began handling the Young at Heart Festival’s advertising in 2007 and has grown the festival’s attendance and profitability year over year by as much as 20 percent. KMK designs and produces the festival’s posters, flyers, radio, TV and print ads plus created and manages the festival’s social media presence. The festival’s Facebook page currently sits at close to 1,000 fans and has drawn national media attention.

Infrastructure Defense Technologies

This Belvidere based manufacturer of defense barriers for military installation world-wide needed to significantly improve its online image. They hired KMK to develop a look to rival those of global billion dollar companies. KMK has since been hired to develop videos, websites and collateral featuring several of the company’s product lines.

Stenstrom

This general contractor, real estate developer and provider of petroleum products and services asked KMK to revamp its website after KMK created its first site nearly ten years ago. KMK used imagery of the companies’ services to highlight its expertise, incorporating several database elements to keep the site fresh.

Miller, Buettner & Parrott

KMK was hired to take this employee benefits insurance provider’s website to the next level. KMK worked with the client to develop a look the client could identify with, offering suggestions on layout, images, copy and how users might use the site to develop a look that worked. KMK programmed the site and then created a corresponding email blast program.

Pearson

Long-time residential service provider, Pearson, hired KMK to design its web version 2.0 after KMK designed its original website nearly ten years ago. The new version incorporates all of Pearson’s current services, an interactive "Ask the Pearson Guy" Q&A section and the ability to schedule a service call online.

Winnebago County 9/11 Memorial

KMK was honored to develop the website commemorating northern Illinois’s grassroots effort to construct a memorial to honor 9/11 first responder victims and all local emergency responders killed in the line of duty. The site allows people to make donations online and includes a video portrayal of what the memorial will look like.

Samco

This worldwide provider of promotional items for large corporations and franchises hired KMK to develop its new e-commerce website after the company ownership changed hands and the company’s goals expanded. KMK completed the site to the client’s utmost satisfaction and within timeframe and budget.

SPX Bolting Systems

SPX hired KMK to create a new look for the company’s website, projecting an image that communicates its worldwide market and capabilities.

Rockford Public Schools

RPS 205 leaders were ready to launch five new initiatives that would change the face of the schools, the community and education locally. They relied on KMK to develop a slogan for the initiatives and a corresponding brand. The imagery was unveiled at an invitation-only event attended by community leaders.

Parade of Homes

This much-anticipated annual Rockford tradition didn’t have a visual representation to help identify it from year to year and in each publication in which it advertised. KMK created a brand identity including logo and stationery and carried the image through to collateral pieces. It is now a recognizable part of the event.

Rockford Metal Polishing Co.

This national manufacturer based in Loves Park provides industrial polishing and buffing services and desired a new brand identity as it transitioned to its third generation of family ownership and sought to branch into new markets. The company now gets frequent compliments on its new identity and has worked with KMK to incorporate it into stationery, signage, a brochure and website.

Galleon Strategic Partners

This Colorado-based firm desired a new corporate identity to help it promote its global business consulting services. KMK developed a logo and stationery packaging, modifying the materials as the company’s corporate offices expanded and developing the firm’s corporate website.

Ignite

This Rockford Chamber-affiliated young professionals group needed an edgy brand identity to use on its collateral and electronic media. KMK developed the new logo which was carried through to various marketing initiatives.

Crusader Community Health

Formerly Crusader Clinic, Crusader Community Health desired to rebrand itself with a new name and logo. KMK assisted the organization with strategic meetings, logo concepts, developing name options and ultimately carrying the new brand forward into all of the organization’s marketing efforts.

Riverside Community Bank

KMK was asked to create a 30-second TV spot promoting the fact that Riverside ATM’s are located in local Road Ranger convenience stores. The spot used a bit of humor, actors and a catchy script to gain attention. It garnered increased visibility for the client.

Pearson

Pearson knows its service is better than its competitors, but it needed a strategy to help it stand out. KMK created a jingle and developed animated cartoon characters to help make Pearson’s look unique.

United Way

United Way of the Rock River Valley hired KMK to develop three 30-second TV spots to encourage people to participate in its annual fundraising campaign. The spots were memorable and moving, striking a chord. The campaign surpassed the previous year’s goal.

Rockford Public Schools

Education was the focus of this year's Rockford Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner. Keynote speaker Dr. Robert Willis, Interim Superintendent of the Rockford Public School District, further explained the District's five "Readiness Rocks" initiatives. KMK produced a video to help Dr. Willis reintroduce the initiatives and illustrate public support for them through testimonials from local business and community leaders.

Field Fastener

This manufacturing distribution firm hired KMK to first promote the groundbreaking and then promote the grand opening of its new 44,000 square foot facility in Machesney Park. KMK invited media, helped with press releases and interviews and even created a website application to accept and organize the RSVPs to the event online.

Riverside Community Bank

Riverside hires KMK to do regular, ongoing public relations promoting its various services, new staff and awards and to strategize with the organization on its overall image.

Rock River Water Reclamation District

KMK works with RRWRD to help it message a variety of issues including rate increases and repair services. KMK also organized the grand opening of its new building, handling event planning, coordinating with dignitaries and organizing the day’s events.

Mill Foundation

The Mill Foundation hires KMK twice a year to handle the press coverage surrounding its donation of tens of thousands of dollars to area non-profits. KMK creates press materials, works with the recipients and speakers and handles media coverage the day of the event.

Young at Heart

A lot goes into putting on a great festival, like Young at Heart, every Memorial Day weekend in Machesney Park. Since 2007, KMK has helped get the word out about the festival, including: dates, location, themed days, and special offers. KMK has also worked to get media coverage of the actual event, which has seen national attention. Since KMK's involvment, the festival’s Facebook page has reached close to 1,000 fans.
